We give thanks to God for the life, ministry, and enduring legacy of Rev. Berniece R. Hicks. Her unwavering commitment to the Word of God and her anointed teachings have left an indelible mark not only on our spiritual journey, but on the life of our church as a whole. Rev. Hicks devoted herself to the deep study of Scripture, and her ability to reveal its mysteries with clarity and power continues to nourish and strengthen believers around the world.
Our church is honored to be ecclesiastically espoused with her teachings. We have embraced the spiritual truths she so faithfully expounded, recognizing them as a solid foundation upon which to build lives of holiness, faith, and obedience to Christ. Her voice, though now silent in the natural, still resounds through her writings and sermons, guiding us to a deeper relationship with God and a greater understanding of His divine plan.
We are grateful for the way Rev. Hicks modeled humility, discipline, and steadfast devotion. Her example encourages us to press forward in prayer, worship, and service with sincere hearts. She demonstrated what it means to live wholly for the Lord, and in doing so, she has inspired generations to remain steadfast in the faith.
As we continue to walk in the light of her teachings, we celebrate her as a vessel chosen by God to bless His people. May our gratitude be shown through faithful living and the preservation of the sacred truths she imparted.
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; — II Timothy 3:14 KJV
