“Where Truth is preached, holiness is upheld, and the Remnant is being restored.”
The Remnant Sanctuary is a Spirit-filled, Bible-centered church located in New Albany, Indiana. Founded by Drs. Joshua and Mitzi Phelan, our church serves as a refuge for God’s Remnant—a place where Truth is preached without compromise and holiness remains the standard. We are rooted in the Message of the Crucified Way, which is the Message of the Bride of Jesus Christ.
Our Pastor-Teacher, Dr. Joshua D. Phelan, teaches profound Truths of Scripture by illuminating Hebrew concepts from both the Old and New Testaments, offering a clear path for believers to grow into the fullness of Christ’s Spiritual Stature.
Our mission is to raise up a steadfast generation grounded in sound doctrine, fervent prayer, heartfelt worship, and a deep love for God’s Word. Come experience restoration, revival, and a return to the old paths.
We at The Remnant Sanctuary are founded upon God’s Spirit and Word. Our services are filled with vibrant worship as members sing, dance, clap, and praise God with their full being. As we study the Word of God, we embrace the full scope of the Bible’s pages.
We believe in the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ that saves us from the penalty of Death and Hell. Consequently, we rejoice wherever the Name of Jesus Christ is preached. We believe in the power of the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as recorded in the Book of Acts. One of the founding scriptures that guides our study of the Word of God is from II Timothy 3:16-17. We consider every verse in our Bible to contain both a literal application as well as a spiritual application.
Though we recognize salvation as the beginning step in the believer’s journey, we also understand through the Word of God that each believer will grow to attain a different place in their spiritual growth. We strive to impart to each one a desire to maintain a close relationship with Jesus Christ above all else.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable fordoctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction inrighteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. — II Timothy 3:16-17 KJV
